About

Pierina – Founder and CEO

Pierina’s educational philosophy is rooted in accelerating remediation and grounded in research that encompasses the best of two worlds: traditional wisdom combined with the pace of international pedagogy. This approach ensures students are well-equipped to compete on a global scale.

She brings her experience as an assistant principal, literacy coach, special education teacher, and SAT / ACT tutor. She spent five years at the middle school level focusing on identifying and closing academic gaps, including working with students one-on-one, in small groups, and overseeing intervention groups. Pierina worked with teachers across content areas on data-led instruction to focus on providing students with opportunities to demonstrate grade-level mastery. As a literacy expert, she sat on the panel of CURATE to review middle school English language arts curricula to ensure alignment with Massachusetts state standards and students’ needs.

As a high school assistant principal, Pierina goes above and beyond for her students. From recommending logic puzzles and riddles for LSAT prep to aspiring lawyers to providing marketing strategies to aspiring entrepreneurs, her students know when they come to her, they receive sound and actionable advice. As a parent and educator, Pierina understands the importance of preparing students for post-graduate success early on.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Italian from St. John’s University and a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Special Education from Rivier University.
